Grant Writing

Many of you are looking to grants to help support and grow your programs. For my money, the Foundation Center is one of the best resources out there for grant seekers, with an online library, information about a large number of funders, and brick and mortar locations in 5 cities around the US. And now, they are offering webinars on key topics like basic proposal writing, which used to only be available in the form of live classes.

The basic proposal writing webinars are scheduled for the following dates:

Thursday, January 29, 2:00 – 3:00 PM Eastern Time
Thursday, February 12, 2:00 – 3:00 PM Eastern Time
Friday, February 27, 1:00 – 2:00 PM Eastern Time
Wednesday, March 11, 3:00 – 4:00 PM Eastern Time
Tuesday, March 24, 2:00 – 3:00 PM Eastern Time

The webinars are scheduled to last 60 minutes and are free of charge. Preregistration is required; participants will receive instructions for joining the webinar prior to the session. Please note, this information is also available in Spanish.

Great website. I’ve needed to get information on grant writing to help my small rural ED….this looks like a great start. Thanks.
