Over at The Hub, they are featuring a page on Violence Against Native Women in North America. Aside from multiple short videos about the scope of the problem, there are also several good links. One of those is to Amnesty International‘s recent report, Maze of Injustice. sad and disturbing about assault amoung native american women. in todays news alaska rape rate is the highest in the US. my daughter kathleen, was in alaska last summer for a missions trip. She worked with the children (actually mostly grandchildren) of alcoholics at an AA convention over the 4rth of July. she was told that sexual assault against the children was 75%
