ReachMD has a new offering as a part of their Focus on Geriatric Medicine and Aging series: Evaluating Elder Competency & Elder Abuse. This podcast features Dr. Lisa Gibbs from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, who “describes the different types of elder abuse and who is most vulnerable. She explains how physicians evaluate mental capacity and the difference between capacity and competency.
