Ladies and gentleman, I give you Fox News’ Liz Trotta (but if you want a brain cleanse, check out John Stewart’s take on her comments after you watch it):

As a Program Supervior for the Army Sexual Assault Program, this is really disturbing to hear. The DoD has recognized a problem and is addressing it.

All I can say is “Shame on you Liz”

Pretty sad that it is an “expectation” that sexual assault will occur! In whose world? Why is it not an expectation that people could live without fear? And WHAT is “RAPED TOO MUCH”???!! Good Grief! Is there going to be an outcry to get this person off the air??

I’m at a loss for words…such eloquent contempt for women from another woman & total lack of understanding of RAPE. Not to mention, disrespect for those who choose to serve our country in military service. This kind of broadcast is evidence that we still have a lot of work ahead of us. Thank you for sharing :)

I added John Stewart’s piece on it above, as a partial anecdote to this piece. Kim, his segment on the “raped too much” quote is especially fantastic.
