This presentation will be an overview of medical care for suspected victims of sexual abuse that will be appropriate for the MDT.

Instructor Bio: Dr. Mark Hudson
Dr. Mark Hudson, is a pediatrician in Saint Paul, Minnesota and is affiliated with Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. He received his medical degree from University of Minnesota Medical School and has been in practice for 14 years. Dr. Hudson is Board Certified in General Pediatrics and Child Abuse Pediatrics. He is one of 146 doctors at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota who specialize in Pediatrics.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Review health consequences of child sexual abuse
  2. Discuss genital anatomy and the physical exam
  3. Understand the rate of physical exam findings and/or biological evidence findings
