From the site:

From the beginning of the reporting process survivors are facing an uphill battle. The language law enforcement, medical professionals, victim advocates, counselors and other criminal justice professional use either reinforce negative beliefs or serve as a catalyst to empower the survivor. Until a shift is created among SART members, the gap between survivors served and survivors that are further victimized will continue to grow. Join us as we explore different vocabulary that can be used to help facilitate the healing process and assist the criminal justice system in holding offenders accountable.
