My name is Jenifer Markowitz and I am a forensic nursing consultant, writer, curriculum developer, and educator. I received my clinical doctorate in Nursing from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and am board certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner—Adolescent/Adult. I spend a great deal of time on airplanes, on military instillations, online, and in court (in no particular order). Buzzwords in my world include: sexual assault, intimate partner violence, sustainability, testimony, and innovation. This site is where I put stuff. Stuff that’s relevant, stuff that’s smart and stuff that I think may just make us a little better at this difficult work we do. Find me at @ForensicHealth for the shorter version.
