Weekly Wrap-Up & NSAC

Next week the National Sexual Assault Conference will be going on in Los Angeles. Sadly, I won’t be there this time (I’ll be with the Navy in Newport), but I’ll be able to catch up on all of the fantastic things happening there, because CALCASA’s going to be tweeting updates in real time (as will many others), and also blogging from the conference.

Here at FHO, just a few things to point out from the week:

  1. WCSAP’s webinar on immigration, sexual violence and the current legal climate
  2. The FDA’s approved Ella, a new emergency contraceptive
  3. A brief, but thought-provoking article on physician expert testimony

I’m flying back to the CLE for 36 hours before I head up to Newport. I’m looking forward to some quality time with my girl child. See you back here Monday.
