The Association of Reproductive Health Professionals offers a webinar on the effectiveness of emergency contraception. Leading this webinar is Dr. James Trussel, Director of Population Research at Princeton University (you may be familiar already with their terrific website). This session requires both pre-and post-course evaluations, assuming you take the course for CE credit (you’re given a choice). The course lasts about 30 minutes plus questions and answers at the end.
This free program provides (according to the site) 1 credit hour in Category 1 of the Physician’s Recognition Award of the American Medical Association. These activities have been approved by the Continuing Education Approval Program of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health for 1 contact hour. Credit can be applied toward the nursing continuing requirements of most professional organizations and State Boards of Nursing. If you have friends who are pharmacists, let them know there’s also CE credit here for them, too.
