The Nobel Women’s Initiative invites you to join us online for a Women’s Day of Action to End Sexual Violence in Conflict on May 26, 2011.
The day of action will target governments encouraging them to give this topic the attention it deserves — ensuring an end to impunity and supporting survivors in their efforts to heal and rebuild their lives and communities

Follow along as we live-tweet a panel discussion on May 26 from 8:30 to 10 am EST from Ottawa, Canada. The panel will feature three Nobel Laureates and prominent activists from Sweden, Kenya and Canada, moderated by journalist Susan Riley of The Ottawa Citizen. We will be live-tweeting using #endrapeinwar at on our Twitter page, and taking questions from online followers.

As part of the Online Day of Action, we will be tweeting all day at #endrapeinwar, posting video messages from women at the conference, encouraging supporters to show their solidarity by tweeting and retweeting at #endrapeinwar, changing Facebook profile pictures to the ‘End Rape in War’ graphic, and promoting online action to Stop Rape in War at Stop Rape Now throughout the day.
