IAFN has a webinar coming up September 20th from 2-3pm ET: Balancing Patient Care and Law Enforcement Collaboration. Registration is not open yet, but let me tell you why you should sign up for this one as soon as possible:
First off, it’s being presented by two of my favorite researchers–ever–Rebecca Campbell (Michigan State University) and Debra Patterson (Wayne State University). Secondly, there are CEUs for this session, and you know you need them. And finally, it’s a critical issue to discuss. You *can* be patient centered, healthcare-driven, and still collaborate effectively with law enforcement, and meet the needs of the criminal justice system for those patients who want to go that route.
