Vera Institute of Justice is offering a webinar this month, Understanding Domestic Violence and Disability. The session will be held November 29th from 3-4:30pm ET. It appears to be the 1st in a series of webinars on working with victims with disabilities.

Domestic violence is prevalent among people with disabilities, with specific tactics and consequences important for service providers to understand. Kelly will detail the unique circumstances faced by domestic violence survivors with disabilities and Deaf survivors, including perpetrator tactics and barriers to receiving services. She will also discuss the complex issue of caregiver abuse.
