The Department of Defense’s Center of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury will be hosting a webinar on sexual assault and sexual trauma in the military. The webinar will be held April 22 from 1-2:30pm ET.

“While reports of sexual assault within the military have been on the rise, the majority of victims remain silent due to a variety of reasons to include stigma and shame. This is not unique to the military, but is a national problem. This webinar will explore the reasons that service members may not report; spotlight national and local support and counseling resources; and provide best practices for preventing sexual assault and sexual trauma.”

Dr. Susan McCutcheon
Director, Family Services
