SANE-P Certification Course

You know I don’t normally post live events, but since it’s the 1st time this one’s being offered I thought I would break this unwritten rule. IAFN is offering a live, SANE-P certification review course this summer and there’s still time to register. See details after the jump…but  let me just say two words, people: Virginia Beach. And two more, just to get you going: Oceanfront Hotel.

Planning to take the SANE-P certification examination?

This course will provide a review of the topics covered by the examination and help direct your individual studying and review, including the dynamics of child sexual assault, evaluation and management of the pediatric sexual assault patient, and the role of the forensic nurse in child sexual assault litigation.

Held on Tuesday, June 15, 2010, from 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., the course will include continental breakfast and lunch, and registration fees are low–just $125.00 for IAFN members or $175.00 for non-members! Visit this link to register https://m360.iafn.org/event.aspx?eventID=16312&instance=0.

The course is being held at the beautiful Wyndham Virginia Beach Hotel–an oceanfront property! IAFN has arranged for a special guest room rate of $109 + state and local tax for the night of June 14, 2010 (room rate based on availability). Call 1-800-365-3032 to make reservations and be sure to reference International Association of Forensic Nurses.
