Summary: This webinar will provide a broad overview of child sex tourism. The presentation will include a discussion about U.S. Federal laws, including the Protect Act, and studies involving recent cases that demonstrate how sex tourism can impact law enforcement, prosecutors, and advocates at the local level. The training will highlight potential red-flags for child sex tourism, considerations for multi-agency and multidisciplinary response, and take-home points to enhance victim advocates’ understanding of the special needs of this victim population.
