I’ve been looking over my stats from 2011, and I thought you might be interested in what was popular in 2011, and who visited our happy little site. Would you be surprised that the #1 search term that lands people at FHO is “toluidine blue dye”? Two and three were “Forensic Healthcare Online” and my name, respectively. Those 2 are less interesting, but TB dye as #1? I wouldn’t have guessed that…
The most popular content in 2011 was:
- Toluidine Blue Dye Clinical Guide
- Alternate Light Source Part 2 Clinical Guide
- New CDC Treatment Guidelines
- Nursing Misconduct and State Boards of Nursing
- Dr. David Lisak and “Acquaintance Rape”
- SANE-P Certification Course
- 20 Free CMEs/CEUs
- Consensual Sex Injury Clinical Guide
- SANE Course Supplemental Materials (BTW, an update of this is coming soon–way overdue)
- 1 More Thing
Outside of North America, the highest percentage of FHO readers hail from:
- Australia
- United Kingdom
- India
- Philippines
- Brazil
I have to admit, #3-5 took me by surprise…

Happy New Year to you and your family! I was wondering how many hits were from Canada, I promise to get more items on the Canada section in the new year.
Happy New Year! I hope that you have a wonderfully restful holiday with friends and family.
More than 1,800 visitors were from Canada (I don’t know how many page views that translates into), representing 137 cities. Regina was the #1 city represented, followed by Calgary, Toronto, Surrey, and Victoria. We had traffic from as far away as Yellowknife, Whitehorse and Iqaluit. Overall, Canada represented almost 10% of the traffic on FHO in 2011. That’s a 23% increase from 2010.
