Sustaining Quality Programs

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) is hosting a webinar, Effective Strategies to Help Sustain Your Quality Programs. The session will be held June 27th from 3:30-5 pm ET, but it is limited in size so if you’re interested, I’d recommend registering ASAP.

DESCRIPTION: Jurisdictions, organizations, and individuals will have the opportunity to listen to and engage in a presentation on effective strategies for sustaining programs, specifically cross-systems collaboration, social marketing, and public relations and engagement strategies.

PURPOSE: Build on current understanding of sustainability strategies, especially focusing on collaborative approaches, advocacy, social marketing, and public relations.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
– Encourage and leverage cross-systems communication and collaboration for sustaining effective supports, services and functions
– Promote effective use of social marketing planning, to develop effective strategies and tools
– Deepen participant’s knowledge of how, why, and where to effectively advocate for their programs, services, initiatives and functions; and to also engage others, including clients, funders, and champions, as advocates
