Thank you Jen for reminding us that we have always had the skills, no, indeed you do not have to have an advanced practice, blessed are the RN’s with excellent assessment skills. The Forensic Nurse interacts with quality, (Duffy, 2005) we Interact with an intent to know, or understand our patients, we take the time uncovering all the experiences with humanity, a human interaction.
