It’s time once again for Articles of Note, our monthly romp through the newly published peer-reviewed literature. Let me first apologize for missing October’s edition–I lost my brother last month, and as you can imagine, a lot of things got missed. But we are back, we have a full complement of articles for you to peruse and some other business to take care of, as well.
As always, almost all articles link to PubMed abstracts (I think we have just a few full text articles this month). Please let me know if you’re having trouble accessing anything and I’ll see what I can do to assist.
As I mentioned a few weeks ago, it’s also time for our annual virtual gift exchange over on Elfster. There is still time to join us–you can register until November 26th. After that, picks are randomly assigned, so there’s no late join-up. We have a ton of fun every year, so please consider participating. You can see how the whole thing works here.
And finally, the newest FHO research compilation is ready for peer review, which means I could use a few readers. This compilation is on injury from both consensual and nonconsensual sexual contact (so it is, in part, an update to my very 1st research compilation, plus an entirely new compilation, all in one). I’m looking for readers who are detail-oriented and able to provide specific and actionable feedback. If you are interested, please drop me a line: firstname.lastname@example.org.
For my US readers, have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
Hug your people tight…
