It’s time once again for Articles of Note, our monthly waltz through the peer-reviewed literature. A couple interesting articles to check out in this issue–some new guidance for screening for elder mistreatment in the ED from Baek, et al.; a fascinating look at delays in SANE response times from Frank and Derouin that I can’t wait to read; and a wild article about whether ChatGPT can replace forensic experts from Berar, et al. Good stuff, as always.
We’ve also dropped our first actual journal podcast episode–we had a robust discussion about photography in exams and I hope you will check it out. The next episode (on trauma-informed care) will drop at the end of the month.
Finally, tomorrow (Thursday 7/16) is the last day we are accepting applications for our initial cohort for the Forensic Nursing Leadership Collaborative. Please get your application in if you are interested in joining us
Happy reading (and listening). See you back here next month.
Jen
