Good morning, friends. It’s time once again for Articles of Note, our monthly romp through the peer reviewed lit. I am bleary and jet-lagged, having just gotten back from a much longer trip to Germany than planned. But the list waits for no one (okay, it actually does, but there’s so much on here, why should it?). So please enjoy–I am particularly looking forward to the Varto, et al., article on head injury and strangulation, and Davey and colleagues’ genital injury article.
A few folks have checked in because we haven’t had a new podcast episode drop since the end of July. 1.) Thanks for noticing, and 2.) the pod is a hobby, and the reality is, some important family stuff came up for our pod crew in the last 6 weeks that pulled focus away from recording–as it should. But we will be recording our next episode in the next few days, so you’ll see that go live by the end of this month. Appreciate everyone’s patience and thanks for the love–we have had a lot more downloads than I think we anticipated, so that’s been a delightful surprise.
